BBC is one of the greatest resources to learn Russian language and here is why:

•    The videos are only a few minutes long and are very easy to follow
•    The videos are usually posted on fun and interested topics that will most definitely captivate your attention. A good example of this is the video was produced by a KVN team as a parody of the video of the Russian President Dmitry Medvedev dancing at a party:

If you haven’t seen the videos of Dmitry Medvedev dancing yet, you can watch them here and here

Mosfilm on YouTube

If you enjoy watching movies in Russian – you will love Mosfilm’s Youtube Channel. “Мосфильм” (Mosfilm) is the biggest and the oldest Russian film studio that has produced over 3,000 movies. If you are Russian Orthodox or are simply interested in the Russian religion and culture, you can watch the videos on the Russian Orthodox Church YouTube Channel.
The channel was launched in 2010 in attempt to reach younger audience. Patriarch Kirill said that  YouTube is an important part of the lives of hundred millions of people and that “it is very important that the church representation is now appearing on this system [YouTube]”.

Watch the welcoming video by Patriarch Kirill.
