Christmas is finally here! I posted a new video on YouTube, where I’m sharing the details about the Christmas celebration in Russian culture. Check it out:
Here is how you say Merry Christmas in Russian:
Счастливого Рождества! [shchas-LEE-va-va razh-deest-VA] Merry Christmas
Although, “Счастливого Рождества” is translated literally as “Happy Christmas”.
A few more articles to help you learn some good Russian Christmas vocabulary:

And, of course, Russian Christmas and New Year’s characters you absolutely have to know:
Дед Мороз [dyed ma-ROZ] Father Frost (Russian Santa Claus)
Снегурочка [snee-GOO-rach-ka] Snow maid or Snegurochka
In my next video lesson I will tell you how exactly Christmas is currently celebrated in Russia, and will give you a few fun tips on how to get the most of the Russian Christmas eve!
Have fun learning Russian!
