It is very easy to cook grechka or grechnivaya kasha. I will share a couple of easy recipes with you today. The recipes are very simple. Usually, it only takes 15-20 minutes to cook grechka (Although, the cooking time depends on the type of groats. It make take a little longer to cook). These recipes will make a healthy dinner for two.
Ingridients
1 cup of grechka (buckwheat)
½ tsp of salt
1 tbsp of butter (for serving), extra 1 tsp of butter for the second recipe
2 cups of water
Recipe 1:
1. Rinse buckwheat groats in cold water a few times until water runs clear.
2. Then place them in a pot and add water and salt.
3. Cover with a lid and boil for about 15-20 minutes or until buckwheat becomes fluffy and absorbs all of the water in the pot. Maybe you will need to add a little more water to make sure that grechka is properly cooked (remember, that cooking time may depend on the type of groats).
4. Serve hot with some butter, a side salad, or kotletys, or other yummy things.
Tip:
You can add a little bit (1 tbs) of olive or sunflower oil to the pan when water starts boiling, this will make grechka even tastier.
Recipe 2:
1. Rinse buckwheat groats in cold water a few times until water runs clear.
2. Drain groats and put them in a frying pan. Roast groats, constantly mixing, until they become golden or slightly brown color.
3. Then add salt, 1 tsp of butter and mix properly without frying.
4. Transfer groats to a pan, add boiling water, cover with a lid, and cook for another 15-20 minutes.
5. Serve hot with some butter.
See you soon!

Садовник и сыновья
